Grace Smith joined the KEZI 9 News team in June 2021 as a news reporter.

Grace graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX, with a bachelor's in communication studies and a minor in news editorial. While at Baylor, she worked as a reporter and anchor for Lariat TV News. She covered many stories for the university and Waco community -- from the 2020 presidential election to Texas' historic winter snowstorm in February 2021, which left many without power or homes.

Grace was born and raised in Texas, but is excited to be in western Oregon. She is looking forward to forming relationships within the community and telling its stories. When Grace isn’t covering the news, you can find her in a cycling class, hanging out with friends, or behind a boat wake-surfing. She loves the outdoors and soaking up the sun!

If you have any story ideas, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Grace. Her email is gracesmith@kezi.com. You can also connect with Grace on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
