Connor McCarthy joined the KEZI 9 News team as a news reporter in August 2019.

Connor graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor's of Science, majoring in journalism and minoring in political science.

During college, Connor worked for Cal Poly's student-run media organization, Mustang News. Connor interned at ABC News, working out of the ABC News bureau in Washington, D.C., under David Kerley and Pierre Thomas. Connor has also interned at KNBC (NBC LA) in Los Angeles and KSBY, the NBC-affiliate in San Luis Obispo.
