Corvallis, Ore. -- The Oregon State women’s basketball team is fresh off a 100-46 victory over La Salle. The No.8 ranked Beavers have a 6-1 overall record so far this season. And part of that success stems from OSU’s shifty, 5’7’’ point guard Destiny Slocum.
Slocum spoke to the media Tuesday about the team’s dominating performance against La Salle. Slocum is OSU’s leading scorer, as she averages 15.4 points per game.

But what separates her into an elite category of point guards is her ability to pass the ball efficiently. Slocum has 41 assists through seven games and told the media she hopes to improve on that statistic heading into March.
