Pac-12 cancels all competition for spring sports due to coronavirus pandemic

This decision comes shortly after the Pac-12's earlier ruling to suspend all sports until further notice and the decision by the NCAA to cancel the men's and women's basketball tournaments.

Eugene, OR. -- After a meeting of the Pac-12 CEO Group and Athletic Directors Saturday, the Pac-12 made the decision to cancel all spring sports competition for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Additionally, the conference is prohibiting any athletically-related activities for teams, regardless of season, through at least March 29. The decision for all schools, including Oregon and Oregon State, will be revisited by that date.
