Oregon opens season with win over Hawaii Pacific

The Ducks begin the season 1-0.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon acrobatics and tumbling started the season with a win over Hawaii Pacific at home.

The Ducks finished with a score of 280.66 to just 266.72 for Hawaii Pacific. 

Oregon set the tone early with a 39.05-37.65 advantage in the compulsory event. The Ducks were tough to beat the rest of the way. 

Oregon's next meet is on the road at 6 p.m. Saturday, February 15 against Arizona Christian University.
