Oregon State defensive back set to transfer

Xavier Crawford is transferring to Central Michigan, where he'll play under former OSU coach Cory Hall.

Corvallis, Ore. -- Oregon State atheletic department says former OSU defensive back Xavier Crawford is transferring to Central Michigan after three years on campus.

Crawford played in 17 games for the Beavers, recording a total of 87 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and one forced fumble.

Next season Crawford will play as a grad-transfer for the Chippewas.

Former OSU interim head coach, and defensive back coach Cory Hall serves as the defensive back coach at CMU.
