Eugene, OR -- After losing its series opener Oregon bounced back to defeat USC on Saturday, 10-7.
The offense came alive as the Ducks scored four runs in the first inning behind a Spencer Steer RBI single.
It was one of three RBI's Steer had on the day.
The decisive blow came in the seventh inning when Oregon's Jakob Goldfarb hit a three-run home run to extend the Ducks lead to 10-4.
Cullen Kafka went 2.0 innings allowing one run in the start. Brett Walker earned the win for the Ducks going 3.0 innings allowing one run in relief.
Oregon improves to 27-25 and 10-16 in conference play.
Game three of the series is set for 12 p.m. on Sunday.
Oregon State had game two of its three game series against Stanford rained out.
OSU and Stanford will play one game at 12 p.m. Sunday at Sunken Diamond in Palo Alto
