Eugene, OR -- Cottage Grove Speedway's Fan Appreciation Night didn't disappoint.
In the Late Model races, Albany's Brian Smith took first followed by Mike Peters of Cottage Grove and Trent Elliot of Springdale.
The Limited Sprint races saw a local racer take first as Cottage Grove's own Ian Bandey ended on top followed by Junction City's Shane Forte.
Ricky Ashley of Thurston finished in third place.
Cottage Grove Speedway's next races are Mom's Night Out set for Saturday, May 4.
In honor of Mother's Day, moms receive free entry.
Over at Willamette Speedway, Graig Osborne cruised to a victory in the Hornet car main event, finishing 11.551 seconds ahead of Matt Diller.
Osborne finished a lap ahead of third-place finisher Matthew Emery and three laps ahead of fourth-place finisher Darren Clark.
The IMCA Stock Car main event was closer with Sean Gentry 0.512 seconds ahead of Kyle Yeack for the first-place finish.
Kevin Roberts took third in the stock car race.
Willamette Speedway will hold races on Friday, May 10, as part of the Valley Wide UTV Shoot Out Series.
