EUGENE, Ore.--- Eugene police arrested 35-year-old Natasha Anderson in Eugene on Saturday.
Police said Anderson set bushes on fire around 2:10 p.m. on the west side of the former Shopko property on the intersection of Coburg Road and Chad Drive.
Police said Anderson then tried to run away after setting the fires.
She had a baseball bat and other weapons in her backpack, they said. Officers said she had struck a window and was being aggressive.
She is potentially facing several charges including interference, arson and reckless burning.
Police were reportedly able to safely take the woman into custody using a taser around 2:20 p.m.
"She began to run, and with the fear of someone potentially getting hurt, a taser was deployed and she was taken into custody," Sergeant Joel Peckles said.
The fire was successfully put out, they said.
She is currently lodged at the Lane County Jail and is facing one charge of Reckless Burning and Interfering with Peace Officer.
