EUGENE, Ore. -- Across the country, 1,500 Walgreens drugstores will be selling cannabidiol (CBD) products, presumably in the near future.
Although Walgreens hasn't released a timeline on its CBD launch, the chain said the products will be sold at stores in nine states, including Oregon. The other states are Colorado, New Mexico, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vermont, South Carolina, Illinois and Indiana. The company didn't say which stores in each state will sell the CBD products.
In a press release, Walgreens said the CBD products will come in topical creams, patches and sprays.
Walgreens is now the second major drugstore chain to launch CBD products. CVS recently announced plans to sell CBD products in some of its stores across the country. Oregon wasn't included in their initial announcement.
