Vehicle of missing Eugene man found at Douglas County lake

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- Deputies are searching for a missing Eugene man in Douglas County.

Roscoe Casita, 37, was reported missing to Eugene police on Sept. 7 by family members, and his blue 2017 Subaru Outback was found at Timpanogas Lake on Monday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Casita has camped at the lake in the past. It’s located in northeast Douglas County about 93 miles northeast of Roseburg and 94 miles southeast of Eugene.

He is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 220 pounds and has black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
