UO sees highest daily COVID-19 case count

There have been 98 cases since June in the University of Oregon community.

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon saw its new highest daily coronavirus case county on Wednesday.

Lane County numbers overall are continuing to surge, and now students are getting ready for the upcoming school year.

Yesterday, UO officials added 18 new cases, all students that are living off-campus.

This comes a day after 15 new cases were added – 13 of them off-campus.

According to the university’s data chart, there have been 98 cases since June in the University of Oregon community.
