ROSEBURG, Ore. – Douglas County officials announced three new coronavirus cases on Monday.

This brings the county’s total of positive test results to 17. So far, four have recovered.

Officials said there have been 507 negative results.

Douglas Public Health Network is working to identify those who had close contact with the individuals who have tested positive.

COVID-19 testing is being conducted solely through health care providers at this time, officials said. Tests are being processed at the Oregon State Public Health Lab and a growing number of commercial labs.

Lane County identified four new cases on Monday, and Oregon Health Authority brought the state count up to nearly 1,600.
