NEWPORT, Ore. -- Oregon drivers will soon have another license plate to choose from.
The new gray whale plate has an image of a gray whale mother and her calf.
The Oregon State University Marine Mammal Institute has now sold 3,000 vouchers for the plates. For each voucher sold, the institute will get $35 to help fund research and education.
The plates won't be available until next year.
