The Great Umpqua Food Truck Competition held for the 3rd year

This is the third year the event has been held. 25 food trucks from all around Oregon came to participate.

ROSEBURG, ORE. -- The Great Umpqua Food Truck Competition was held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Complex again this 4th of July.

This is the third year the event has been held. 25 food trucks from all around Oregon came to participate. 

Each food truck was judged individually based off one prepared plate. If a food truck made the finals, they were critiqued by a public pannel of judges. First place recieved $10,000.

The Wok Star food truck, who is based out of Medford, won for the first time this year. Portland-based food truck Big Fat Weiners followed in close second and recieved $5,000. 

After the competition ended, attendees enjoyed a battle of the bands competition and a firework show.
