TANGENT, Ore. -- Firefighters said a building that caught fire in Tangent on Thursday is a total loss.
They estimate that the fire at Oregon Powder Coating left $350,000 in damages to the structure and $300,000 to the contents.

The fire broke out at about 4:15 p.m., off the Old Highway 34.
Firefighters said when they showed up, flames were coming from the building and employees were trying to fight it.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
