Harrisburg bridge no longer blocked by crane

At the last minute, the operator of a 16-foot crane realized the bridge was only 14-feet tall.

HARRISBURG, Ore. -- A crane that was blocking the main bridge on Highway 99E over the Willamette River in Harrisburg Wednesday afternoon has been turned around.

The northbound lane was blocked when, at the last minute, the operator of a 16-foot crane realized the bridge was only 14-feet tall. The driver didn't hit the bridge, but it took some time to turn the crane around.
