SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – A police chase took officers from Springfield to the Glenwood area Tuesday afternoon.
The pursuit began at about 12:50 p.m. near 4th and E streets downtown. Two officers were after a red Honda Civic, which had been stolen.
The driver eluded police, driving onto Interstate 105 eastbound to Main Street and went west to Glenwood.
Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle at Franklin Boulevard and crashed into bushes.
The four or five people who were inside went running and were apprehended, police said. A police dog helped locate one of the suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
No one was injured.
