Suspect arrested after shooting incident in Eugene

18-year-old Kemoni Madison is lodged at Lane County Jail with two counts of first degree attempted assault and one count of unlawful use of weapon.

EUGENE, Ore.-- Eugene Police arrested 18-year-old Kemoni Madison of Springfield believed to be involved in a shooting incident on Saturday around 2 p.m.

Police responded to reports of shots being fired at occupants of a vehicle on 19th and Alder in Eugene.

The vehicle was occupied by a 23-year-old male and 18-year-old female, officials said.

Officials said the vehicle was struck but the occupants were not hit.

They located Madison around 3:30 p.m. on 32nd and Ferry Street.

Madison is lodged at Lane County Jail with two counts of first degree attempted assault and one count of unlawful use of weapon.
