EUGENE, Ore. -- Our StormTracker 9 meteorologists are tracking a mild and cloudy start on Tuesday, but clouds will slowly break up this afternoon with more sun breaks. Temperatures will be very dependent on the amount of sunshine we see. Highs will range from mid 50s to low 60s.
Tuesday: Mostly to partly cloudy. Highs in middle 50s
Wednesday: Fog/partly sunny. Highs in middle 50s
Thursday: Mostly sunny. Highs in low 60s
Friday: Rain likely. Snow level 4,000 feet. Highs in upper 40s
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with isolated showers. Snow level 2,500 feet. Highs in middle 40s.
Sunday: Partly sunny. Highs in low 50s.
Monday: Mostly sunny. Highs in low 50s.
The tail-end of a cold front will swing through tonight, bringing the clouds back and a chance of light drizzle. The interior valleys will mainly be in a rain shadow but overall, only a few hundredths of an inch are expected.
Clouds will lift on Wednesday morning, with more sunshine during the afternoon. The temperatures on Wednesday will remain in the middle to upper 50s. How clear the skies are Wednesday night will determine how much fog will form heading into Thursday morning.
Thursday will also be mostly sunny with temperatures in the low 60s. Clouds will slowly increase Thursday night into Friday as a cold front approaches.
The next cold front arrives on Friday, which will trigger showers on Friday and Saturday. Right now, rainfall looks to be rather light with accumulations less than a quarter of inch. Drier weather will return on Sunday.
