Storage shed catches fire at Lebanon mill site

Firefighters arrived to find a vacant storage shed on fire.

LEBANON, Ore. – Firefighters responded to a fire at the old Champion mill site Thursday night.

Lebanon Fire District said they received multiple calls around 10 p.m. about a building on fire at the mill site off Burdell Boulevard.

Firefighters arrived to find a vacant storage shed on fire.

Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 30 minutes.

Lebanon Fire District says the fire is suspicious in nature and the building is known to be frequently used by transients.
