Stabbing victim allegedly attacked by multiple men in Eugene

There is no threat to the public, police say.

EUGENE, Ore. -- A man was sent to the hospital after reporting he was attacked by multiple men and stabbed in Eugene early Thursday morning, according to police. 

Officers were called to the Grocery Outlet on River Road around 4:30 a.m. for reports of a stabbing victim, officials said. When they arrived, they found a man with a severe stab wound on his right arm. 

According to police, the victim was uncooperative but said he was attacked by three men at the Dollar Tree across the street. Police say when they went to the Dollar Tree there was no sign of a crime scene. 

The victim was sent to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. 

Police say they are waiting to look at video footage of the surrounding area and there are no suspects at this time. There is no threat to the public.
