Springfield man robbed at gunpoint

Springfield police are looking for the man who robbed another man at gunpoint.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore – Springfield police said a man was robbed at gunpoint Monday night.

This happened around 9:30 p.m. near Beltline Road and Game Farm Road. They said a man was walking in the area when he realized a man was following him. He tried changing directions a few times but the man still followed him.

Police said he eventually confronted the suspect who then took out a handgun, robbed him, and ran away.

Five K-9 officers searched for the suspect but there weren't able to find him.

The suspect is described as a man between 23 to 27-years-old and standing 5'9" to 5'11." They said the man weighs about 140 lb to 160 lbs and was wearing a hooded windbreaker and a dark-colored cap.
