Second drug raid at Eugene car dealership leads to arrests

A previous raid ended in four arrests, and police reportedly found evidence of drug dealing and weapons.

EUGENE, Ore. – A second search warrant was served at a Eugene car dealership this week, leading to two arrests.

The Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit served the warrant at Buy A Car, 825 River Avenue, at about 5 p.m. on June 30 with the help of SWAT and the entire police dog team.

During the operation, officers reportedly found almost 100 fentanyl pill sand more than six grams of methamphetamine.

Sama Hernandez, 24, and Rory Conner, 41, were arrested and taken to the Lane County Jail on charges of the possession, manufacture and delivery on a schedule two substance.

A previous warrant was served in May this year at the business. That yielded four arrests, including Hernandez, who was arrested on a parole violation. Police also reportedly found evidence of narcotics delivery and weapons at the location, but the primary suspect was not found at the time.
