Second Douglas County resident dies of COVID 19

The 80-year-old tested positive August 14.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- Douglas County public health officials announced Wednesday that a second resident has died of COVID-19.

The man was 80 years old and passed away at RiverBend Hospital. He tested positive Aug. 14 and was hospitalized on Sunday.

It is unknown whether the individual had any underlying health conditions.
