DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- The search for a man who went missing near Toketee earlier this month continues, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said.
Pacific Power, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Forest Service and Oregon State Police are working to locate Jeffrey A. Vance, 30, of Mt. Angel.
Vance and his friend Anthony Fennimore of Silverton experienced car problems on Feb. 1. They eventually walked away from the car.
Fennimore told deputies the two got lost and separated either Saturday night or Sunday morning in the woods.
Then on Feb. 4, Fennimore managed to get a ride to Glide where he made a call to dispatch.
Vance is described as 6 feet tall, 300 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing dark blue or black Helli Hansen rain gear, a brown or gray stocking cap, a camouflage framed backpack and Georgia boots.
