Run to Stay Warm race just around the corner

There will be a half-marathon, 10K, 5K and kids' race.

EUGENE, Ore. -- If you're looking for a fun way to burn a few extra calories before the big Thanksgiving feast, while also doing something good for the community, you're in luck.

Eugene Water & Electric Board's 12th annual Run to Stay Warm race is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 18.

There will be a half-marathon, 10K, 5K and kids' race. The money raised goes toward EWEB's customer care program, which is a utility bill assistance fund for those with limited incomes.

Race registration is open until 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. You can register here.
