ROSEBURG, Ore. – A Douglas County business is shipping 30,000 pounds of food to the county’s regional food bank – Feeding Umpqua.

Sherm’s Thunderbird and Food 4 Less markets wills end a semi-truck of food to the organization next Thursday.

The tradition started back in 2006, and since then, 400,000 pounds of food has been donated.

Feeding Umpqua’s manager said Sherm’s has helped time and again with hardships faced in the pandemic and wildfires.
