LAKESIDE, Ore. – The Coos County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect in Saturday's robbery in Lakeside.
Seanpatrick Maloney, 27, allegedly robbed McKay's Market, 200 S. 8th Street, and threatened a man with a knife when he confronted him for shoplifting, deputies said. The man reportedly said he was going to “stick him” with his knife and raised it. The victim got away and called 911, deputies said.

Hours after deputies asked for the public's assistance finding the suspect, they received more than a dozen anonymous phone calls all pointing to Maloney. They learned Maloney was at a home on Broadway Avenue in North Bend.
Officers of the Confederated Tribes arrested Maloney after he left the home. Authorities confirmed that he matched the description of the robber.
Deputies said Maloney had a weapon matching the weapon used in the robbery in his possession.
He was taken to the Coos County Jail, and he faces charges of first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, third-degree theft and possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies thanked the citizens who assisted them and the officers of the North Bend Police Department and the Confederated Tribes.
