Registration open for Greenhill's Bark in the Park fundraiser

Bark in the Park is one of Greenhill's biggest fundraisers of the year.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Alton Baker Park goes to the dogs on Sunday, May 19, when over 1,000 dogs and their people will leash up for a 10K, 5K, or 2K run/walk in the park to raise money for the Greenhill Humane Society.

The event will have the run and the walk, canine activities, vendor booths, demonstrations and more.

Greenhill hopes to raise $120,000 to help care for and find homes for approximately 3,000 pets in 2019. The event is one of the humane society's biggest fundraisers of the year.

Preregistration until Feb. 28 is $25 and includes a doggie bandana or $40 with a doggie bandana and a tech-tee shirt. After Feb. 28, registration goes up to $30/$45. Day-of Registration is $35 with a bandana or $50 with a bandana and tech-tee shirt (while supplies last). Children ages 12 and under are free.
