EUGENE, Ore. -- A fire destroyed an RV in Eugene Thursday morning.
Eugene-Springfield Fire responded to the RV, which was parked along Owen Loop near Ed Cone Boulevard.
When firefighters arrived, the RV was fully engulfed in flames, sending a large cloud of smoke into the air.
The call came in shortly before 7 a.m., but firefighters said no one was in the RV when they arrived.
Officials don’t believe there were any injuries. Firefighters on scene noted this is the second time in the last month they have been called to that street, which has multiple RVs parked there despite “no camping” signs.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
