Tractors catch fire at potting soil manufacturer in Eugene

According to Lane Fire Authority, two tractors caught fire at Aurora Innovations.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire on East Enid Road in Eugene just before 3 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Lane Fire Authority, two tractors caught fire at Aurora Innovations, a local potting soil manufacturer. Seven fire engines and 24 firefighters from Lane Fire Authority and Eugene-Springfield Fire responded and were able to put out the flames within 20 minutes. 

Fire Chief Randy Wood said no one was injured, but the fire caused damages worth $200,000. 

Lane Fire Authority is still investigating what caused the vehicles to catch on fire.
