Police serve search warrant in north Eugene

It is still unclear what the search warrant was for.

EUGENE, Ore.-- Eugene police served a search warrant Wednesday afternoon that drew a crowd to the corner of Gilham Road and Carmel Avenue.

Police were on scene with K9 units and SWAT as they asked a person to come outside of a house on Carmel Avenue with their hands up. Witnesses at the scene told KEZI 9 News that loud bangs drew them out to the scene. No one was injured during the incident.

It is still unclear what the search warrant was for.
