Police seek suspect in armed robbery caught on camera during riot

EUGENE, Ore. – Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery the night of the riot more than three weeks ago.

Investigators have been looking into the looting and property damage that took place the night of May 29 into the early hours of May 30.

The identity of the suspect and the victim in the armed robbery are unknown. The incident was caught on camera.

Five Guys, Jimmy Johns, T-Mobile, and Starbucks were all damaged during the riots, which took place the first night of Black Lives Matter protests in Eugene.
