Police release names of Springfield triple-shooting victims

One person died and two were injured.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The names of the victims in a shooting at a Springfield apartment complex have been released.

Garrett Charles Petersen, 24, died from a gunshot wound to the chest Sunday morning. Police said Darin Ray Havens, 21, and Jesse Ray Able, 22, were also shot, and are still recovering from their injuries.

Jordan Wyatt Ledbetter, 23, is accused of shooting all three victims. He will be arraigned on murder and weapon charges Tuesday.

Police said the shooting happened at a birthday party for Able at 506 West Centennial Boulevard Saturday evening. They said alcohol and drugs played a role in the shooting.

Officers said Able was Ledbetter’s roommate.
