PHILOMATH, Ore. -- Officials are investigating an incident in Philomath, following multiple reports of a heavy police presence Sunday night.
The incident happened near the Forest Meadows mobile home park in the 1200 block of N. 19th Street.
People who live in the area reported seeing a home taped off and that police were there for hours.
Officials have confirmed they're investigating an incident, but aren't able to give any further details because it is an active case. They did say the area is secure and there is no threat to the community at this time.
