EUGENE, Ore. -- Eugene Police are looking for a man who they said robbed a local taco shop. They said he pepper sprayed the employee, before getting away with cash.
Police said a man walked into Riva's Taco Shop located off of Highway 99 shortly before 10:00 Saturday morning. They said he pepper sprayed an employee in the face, took cash, and ran to the parking lot where a get-away vehicle was waiting for him.
They said a second employee ran out after the man. As the vehicle was driving away, the man allegedly pointed what appeared to be a firearm at that employee.
Police describe him as a white male, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, with a thin build. They said he was last seen wearing a blue and gray full zip hoody with a Transformer logo on the front, baseball hat, black sunglasses and gloves.
The vehicle is described as a newer model VW Golf, 4-door, silver in color, and with tinted rear passenger windows. Police said it was being driven by a woman wearing sunglasses.
