EUGENE, Ore. – Two female Chihuahuas visited KEZI 9 News on Tuesday in their quest to find new homes in time for the holidays.
Blitzen, 4, and Dancer, 5, could fit into a variety of homes. They can be a little shy at first, but are both very sweet and love to be held. They could live in a household with children old enough to be gentle with small dogs. They could also live with another dog or cat.
Blitzen weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces and Dancer weighs 8 pounds 11 ounces. Their adoption fees are $185 each, which include the cost of vaccinations, microchip identification, spaying or neutering, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more.
Every Tuesday, KEZI showcases homeless pets on the Midday newscast at 11 a.m. If you are interested in Blitzen, Dancer or other animals at First Avenue Shelter or Greenhill Humane Society, click here.
