EUGENE, Ore. -- Eugene police need the public’s help finding a suspect who’s been shooting at the windows of businesses with a pellet gun.

Yet another business was hit Monday, May 28, by someone driving a silver or grey sedan. The business affected, Eugene Carbide Saw & Machine, is located in the 4200 block of West 6th Avenue. The owners said they’re expecting to pay nearly $600 for each of the four windows they’ll need to replace.

Last week there were similar incidents involving two other businesses on Commercial Way, Oregon Paddle Sports and Mason's Supply Company. A warehouse on Bertelsen Road was also hit. The businesses were all closed when the incidents happened.

Another business that said it was hit last week was Automotive Sheetmetal. They said they spent nearly $500 to repair a shattered window.

"It's hard to take. I mean this is just a small business, we're not some giant chain that can absorb an amount of money like that and laugh it off. Every little bit of money counts for a small business, so it's not good,” said Michael Weber, an employee at Automotive Sheetmetal.
