Oregon to provide $8.5 million in rent relief

The agencies are taking applications directly.

EUGENE, Ore. – The state is providing $8.5 million in rent relief to various regional agencies.

The money was allocated by the Oregon Legislature through the Joint Emergency Board.

In Western Oregon that includes Lane County Human Services, which received $929,025. Community Service Consortium in Albany got $583,383. In Douglas County the United Community Action Network got $489,779. The Oregon Coast Community Action in Coos County received $233,165.

The agencies are taking applications and those applying need to contact their local agency directly.
