Corvallis, OR-- In the realm of football, the quarterback is the most important player. But without chemistry between the wide receivers and its captain, the offense is going to stall.
At Oregon State, that's not a problem.
The relationship between sixth-year quarterback Jake Luton and Junior wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins has been growing ever steadily over the course of the off-season.
"We're continuing to get that,(chemistry), every single day," Hodgins said. "It's constant chemistry of where I'm gonna be and where he's gonna throw it."
Hodgins had multiple career bests last season with Luton at the helm. He recorded 59 catches for 876 yards and five touchdowns. But with the two in perfect synchronization so far, the tandem duo is looking to improve.
"We're always working after practice, trying to talk and figure things out," Hodgins explained.
