Eugene, Ore. -- Jermar Jefferson ran for a rivalry series record 226 yards as Oregon State upset No. 15 Oregon 41-38 at Reser Stadium. Beaver QB Tristan Gebbia finished with 23 completed passes for 263 yards and 1 touchdown despite leaving on the second to last series of the game with a leg injury. Backup Chance Nolan scored the go ahead touchdown to take the lead.
Oregon started out fast, amassing a 24-13 lead at halftime, relying on Tyler Shough, who threw for 285 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. But the Beavers 22-7 4th quarter, capped by the go ahead score with 30 seconds left was too much for the Ducks to overcome.
Oregon State is now 2-2 this season while Oregon drops to 3-1.
