Corvallis, OR -- After squeaking by Boise State, Oregon State women's basketball will take on a much tougher test in round two of the NCAA Tournament in five seed Gonzaga.

The Bulldogs are coming off a win against Arkansas Little Rock in round one, 68-51.

The Beavers and Zags have interesting history in that the Bulldogs upset the Beavers at Gill Coliseum in the NCAA Tournament in 2015. OSU went on to make the Final Four the following year. Beavers' head coach Scott Rueck said it was a turning point for the program.

"We learned a lot of lessons that day," Rueck said. "Our program evolved. That was a Sunday, probably. On a Monday just hanging out in my office and Jamie Wisner and Sydney Wiese walked in and Jamie Wisner said 'I ain't going out like this next year.' She was a junior at the time. We all know she became an All-American and led this team to a final four the following year."

The Beavers hope to win this time and propel themselves to a Sweet 16 in Albany, NY.

Tip-off between Gonzaga and Oregon State is set for 6 p.m. on Monday in Gill Coliseum.

The winner will face the winner of Louisville and Michigan in the Sweet 16.
