PORTLAND, Ore. – Instead of going dark in 2020, the Oregon State Fair is having an E-Fair event aimed at building anticipation and opportunities for fairgoers in 2021.
Starting today people can win their way to the 2021 fair by participating in contests and sharing their favorite parts of Oregon.
“We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to provide a much needed celebration of Oregon and Oregonians this year,” said CEO of the Oregon State Fair Kim Grewe-Powell. “We’ve created an end-of-season event with a nod to our history and future as a resilient state.”
Grewe-Powell also said the virtual event will showcase animals, live music and a pre-sale for the 2021 Columbia Bank Concert Series. A few of the attractions include:
- iFlip trampoline acrobats
- GASCAR Animal Racing
- Paul Bunyan Lumberjacks
- 4-H interviews
- NW Challenge K9 Heroes/Dock Diving Dogs
- Dia de la Familia dances by Ballet Tianese and Danza de Los Viejitos
- Taste-of-a-Fair food truck tour

The entertainment starts Aug. 28.
