VENETA, Ore. -- Cleanup is underway at the Oregon Country Fair after the event wrapped up Sunday.
Charlie Ruff with the Oregon Country Fair said a few hundred volunteers and crew members will be working for about a week to make sure they leave the area like they found it.

Crews will be picking up trash and stripping down booths and other structures so they can be stored away for next year.
Even though 2019 will be their 50th celebration, Ruff said they don’t have any plans to make it bigger.
“What you will see, I think, is a really thoughtful use of every inch of space out here to bring in as many folks as we can to celebrate our 50th anniversary,” Ruff said.
