LINN COUNTY, Ore.--- One person died in a two vehicle crash on Interstate 5 northbound near milepost 212 on Sunday morning, Oregon State Police said.
The crash happened around 10:40 a.m.
Officials said 29-year-old Albany resident Shiloh Edsitty was going southbound in the northbound lanes in a Volkswagen Jetta when he collided with a semi-truck.
Edsitty sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.
The semi-truck was operated by 55-year-old Grants Pass resident Phillip Paylor.
Paylor was uninjured.
OSP, Halsey Shedd Fire Department and Oregon Department of Transportation responded to the crash.
