LANE COUNTY, Ore. -- One person was killed in a crash on Highway 126 Tuesday morning.

The crash shut down the highway near milepost 51 around 9:10 a.m.

Oregon State Police told KEZI 9 News that four vehicles were involved in the deadly crash.

They said a sedan, heading westbound, slowed down to turn left to help a disabled vehicle. They said the car behind it also slowed down.

Troopers said the pickup truck behind the second car didn't stop and ended up crashing into it, according to OSP. Officials said the pickup was launched into the eastbound lane and hit a minivan.

The driver of the minivan, Jeannie Saeburn, died at the scene, police said. She was 51. Her passenger, a boy, was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

Three other people were also sent to the hospital.

The highway has since reopened.
