CORVALLIS, Ore. – A historic donation of $50 million will help Oregon State University transform Reser Stadium into a “best-in-class football facility,” university officials say.
The university also hopes to host year-round programs at the stadium.
Completing renovations on the stadium will be a $153 million project.
OSU’s Board of Trustees Finance and Administration Committee approved starting the design phase on Jan. 28. The board will decide on whether to issue a final approval of the project in May.
If approved, construction would begin after this year’s football season with the goal of completion at the start of the 2023 football season.
The Beavers would continue to play at the stadium during construction.
