Corvallis, OR -- Oregon State was eliminated from the College World Series following the loss to Creighton at home, 4-1.

With the tying run at the plate in the ninth inning, OSU's Tyler Malone grounded into a game-ending double play.

The Beavers were held to just four hits in the contest with two hits from both Alex McGarry and Zak Taylor.

The only OSU run came on a sacrifice fly in foul territory during the fourth inning.

Three of the four Creighton runs came in the third inning on a solo home run from Isaac Collins and a two-run hit from Jack Strunc.

Grant Gambrell suffers the loss for Oregon State going 4.1 innings allowing three runs on five hits in the start.

The Beavers received a solid relief outing from Dylan Pearce who threw four scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

Adley Rutschman was kept quiet at the plate going 0-3 in what could be his final game in a Beavers' uniform.

Rutschman is projected to be the No. 1 overall pick in Monday's MLB Draft.
