NORTH BEND, Ore. -- A bar in North Bend has had its liquor license canceled after a manager was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting an employee.

The Copa Cabana nightclub is also accused of serving alcohol to minors.

In a report by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission, an employee said Marcelino Garcia made her a few drinks after her shift, and she felt very dizzy. She said he then assaulted her and she passed out.

Garcia has denied this, and investigators said they didn’t have enough evidence to charge him.

But the OLCC said employees drinking at work and other violations led to the liquor license being canceled.
